Born in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, China, Peter CHOY is a qualified and experienced international insurance and reinsurance professional. His vision is to build an Asian-based leading international risk and insurance management group. Since 1994, he practices as an insurance and reinsurance broker throughout Asia, Middle East and Latin America and as a manager of insurance companies. He is well respected in all the markets in which he works as he demonstrates to his business associates his business integrity, professionalism, international insurance knowledge and market connections, marketing and sales ability, interpersonal relationship, etc. His major insurance and reinsurance clients included one of the largest oil tanker fleets and one of the largest oil companies in the world.

In the last few years, Peter has branched into the management of insurance and reinsurance companies with the operation of two insurance companies in Asia and aim to expand further to be a unique leading risk solution provider that offer client-driven products featuring all elements to render other existing commercial products incompatible. His visions have been shared with other serious investors who intend to offer capital to support the growth when the scale will then be further expanded.

Peter formed Sinoasia Group, his own company in risk and insurance management, in 2011 with the mission to develop risk and insurance management business in Asia, with particular attention to overseas business of Chinese enterprises and contractors around the world. Since then, he has been actively working with the Chinese insurance market in providing risk and insurance management services to Chinese interests abroad.

One of the major subsidiaries of Sinoasia Group is Visionary, a company licensed by Labuan Financial Services Authority, Malaysia, to undertake general insurance business, including reinsurance business around the world.

With his experience in insurance, reinsurance and self-insurance and operations of insurance companies and insurance brokers in a number of jurisdictions, Peter now specializes to provide global clients, including Chinese interests abroad, with structured insurance and reinsurance programmes incorporating self-insurance through captive insurance and alternative risk transfer.
